During my transit trip, I had the pleasure of staying at Vilamaroto in Meranges. The hotel's location near the nearest airport, just 54 kilometers away, was incredibly convenient for me. This made my stopover hassle-free and allowed for easy access to transportation. the efforts made by Eduard, the hotel staff, to ensure my comfort and happiness were greatly appreciated. It truly made my stay a pleasant experience.
The breakfast could use some improvement in terms of variety, particularly for those who do not typically eat Iberian dishes.

The room at Vilamaroto was absolutely charming, with a beautiful tile floor and cozy seating area. I felt right at home! Having a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher was a game-changer, making it easy to cook and clean up during my stay. The mountain views from the patio were breathtaking, providing the perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The free WiFi was a major plus, allowing me to stay connected and share my amazing experiences with friends and family back home.
Personally, I didn't find much use for the microwave in the room. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well-equipped. the landlord is very friendly and supportive. the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with the option of adding extras from the kitchen's fridge at a good price. the nearby restaurant, Can Borrell, comes highly recommended and has excellent food and service according to a Michelin recommendation. the host is accommodating and even allowed a guest to prepare their own poached eggs. the location is perfect for walking and exploring the beautiful surroundings, and dogs are welcome. the rooms are clean, modern, quiet, and offer stunning mountain views.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with majestic mountains in sight. the warm welcome we received from the host made us feel right at home. They even provided us with a map of the surrounding area, making it easy for us to explore. Plus, the breakfast they served was excellent, with a variety of delicious options to choose from.
That our room felt a bit cramped, especially if you're planning to stay for more than a night or two. finding a place to eat in the evening was a bit of a challenge as all the restaurants in the village were closed at this time of year.

Our room at Vilamaroto had a rustic charm with a beautiful tile floor and a cozy seating area. It made us feel right at home! The fully equipped kitchen in our unit was a game-changer for us as vegetarians. We could easily whip up our own plant-based meals. The mountain views from our patio were breathtaking. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink.
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the room to be a bit lacking. But hey, some people might love hearing the sounds of nature outside!
